Dadi Janki – 2.6.12 – GCH, LondonDancing with God
The song "You are the Mother and the Father" is very good. However, there’s a line in it, which goes: ‘"We are the dirt at your feet’ "and Baba would say: ‘Turn it off, because we children are not that.’ Baba had so much intoxication that Shiv Baba is my Mother, my Father, my Teacher, my Friend and we should feel the same. On the path of devotion, too, people remember God like this. The path of devotion is a wonderful path – it too is part of the drama.
Baba has shown us the "straight" path with two phrases: ‘Remember the Father’ and ‘Be a stick for the blind’. It isn’t a lot for us to do and we can do this and still be free. Think how wonderful it is for a blind person to be given sight. We all have the intoxication that we have been given sight: divine insight, the ability to see. Yes, it’s good to give people support and, when we do, we have to keep giving more and more support but it’s best if we can give people sight. Baba inspires us to be a stick for the blind and so become equal to Baba in this.
Souls should receive a vision of Vishnu through us. Our faces become so lovely, when we spin the discus of self realisation. Why is that? Because as I spin the discus of self realisation, I stop looking at others and what is going on around me – I am just seeing myself.
Why the mace? Because situations will come, Maya will bring storms but we children stay beyond the awareness of the body and bodily relations and all attractions of the world, as Baba has instructed us to. Baba, who lives in the faraway world has come to the foreign land. We may talk of Bharat as our birth place but this world is not Baba’s world, it is Ravan’s, because Ravan has been ruling here. We now have to take this world back from Ravan and bring back the golden aged kingdom.
At the end you will see what effort you have made. You will have visions of the good and bad things you have done - and the fruit of these. If you’ve only done a little good, that will not come in front of you. So, just like a night security man would call out: be alert, be cautious, be careful! Cleverness isn’t the cleverness of the intellect – it means using knowledge appropriately. The more we use knowledge, the more we will remember Baba. If we hear knowledge and tell others about it but that’s all, there will be a little happiness for a little while but not that much. But if we constantly churn the knowledge, we will constantly be receiving happiness from it. It is churning knowledge that makes us detached, that makes us conquerors of attachment.
It’s in the18th and final chapter of the Gita chapter that Arjuna is told that he is the conqueror of attachment and the embodiment of awareness. If we have not wasted any time in carelessness, in making mistakes, then our final moments will be very good. Tests come through the body and through relationships. These days the main test people talk about is different sanskars. Of course sanskars will be different! We must learn not to get disturbed when we see different sanskars - not to see, listen or speak about others’ sanskars; just stay detached and keep quiet.
Some people are good at dancing. Dadi dances "internally "– dancing the dance of knowledge. There is the praise of dancing with God ("raas"). I have not danced with Krishna – I have danced with God Himself! Experience this for yourself, Dadi wishes you to experience all the things we have experienced. When in the early days sisters used to go into trance, they would start dancing. When Didi saw Baba, she had such great intoxication, although she didn’t go into trance. When Dadi hears the song "Chalte Chalte," she immediately feels intoxicated and wants to dance. Those who dance the" raas" experience a special intoxication, as they forget that the soul is in the body. It’s experiences such as these that really attract the soul. But if things of this world attract or disturb us, we won’t be able to dance so well.
It says in the scriptures that amongst us there must be love. Do I have love for everyone? Or for some and not for others? Why shouldn’t I love? Baba is tied to us in all relationships, and whether the children fulfil their responsibility of love or not. He fulfils each of the relationships with the children.
Keep whispering knowledge to souls so that their final moments lead them to a good destination. As we hear knowledge, let us find a point so good, so lovely that we forget other things. Then we’ll stay in the awareness of what Baba has said and not be interested in anything else. Take care of souls, so that they can make their lives good. A buzzing bee doesn’t leave the other alone until it can fly. It will colour the company of whoever it’s with. Colour people with your company and in that way change them. When Baba’s things are in our lives, our stage becomes powerful and positive and we are able to turn around the thoughts and intentions of others. We have to prepare souls so that they recognise who Baba is. Uplift yourself and then, wherever you are instrument, uplift others. But start with yourself. Take care that no time is wasted in carelessness, laziness or excuses - then everything becomes easy. That is God’s plan. Om shanti.

Baba showed us how to become avyakt
Do you feel today’s murli is for the self personally? In an easy way Baba gives us a mirror and says: Just stay here for namesake. The might of the Father does its work and we just need to remain very light. With might we become totally light. He is doing the work and I experience might and light… then it is not necessary to sleep so much. Why do we need to sleep for 5 hours, when we have to spread light throughout the world? The Sun and Moon both work 24 hours a day - always serving some part of the world; they don’t sleep!
At the Confluence Age spiritual light automatically does its work. Baba spoke of it today and we had practical experience of this in the early days. Baba did the ‘graveyard meditation experience’ with everyone, where they would lie down and practise being in the bodiless stage. We are not fearful of graveyards as people of the world are. The room where we slept had 24 mattresses laid out closely in a double line and it looked like a graveyard! Baba would come and give such drishti to each one at night and we would all get lost in this. Then again before 4am Baba would come and give drishti. He would ask ‘Child, did you sleep well?’ and I would reply, ‘Yes, very well. So always say ‘good night’, ‘good morning’ and ‘good day’ to Baba. Do we have responsibilities? Everyone is moving along and doing everything very well, yet we are sitting in the world of angels. We are not human beings, as we are changing from Brahmins to angels. We become Brahmins in order to be detached from the consciousness of the body and we become angels in order to be loved by God.
"[Dadi was asked to share her experience of when Brahma Baba became avyakt.]"
When Mama left in 1965, for the next three years Brahma Baba’s stage remained up above. Mama’s responsibilities were transferred to Baba. Mama had paid a lot of attention to our welfare. Baba took on the sweet form of the mother - just like we experience BapDada now. Baba was detached since Shiv Baba came and yet in the last three years it was as though he was not there. Baba forewarned the gathering several times that the body would have to be left, but no one could have imagined this and that there would be another 43 years after he became avyakt. In the first murli Dadi heard when she came to Baba, He said that the next Diwali would not come and to this day Dadi keeps this in mind. Brahma Baba’s effort was of the highest level. Shiv Baba spoke through him and we saw the practical example of these teachings. We would see Shiv Baba through Brahma Baba’s eyes. Whose eyes were they? The two became one. Baba had such deep internal remembrance. When on service there would be the explanation of the two Babas but the practical experience was of One.
Baba would write letters in the morning and on the day he left, by 10am he had written 40 letters. He would write ‘"Accept love and remembrance from BapDada’" to each one. He ate early that evening and went to class at 8.30pm instead of the usual 9pm. He met everyone and spoke a short murli, saying "‘Stay in the stage of being incorporeal, egoless and viceless,’" and ‘"Remember that the one who defames me is my friend".’ At 9pm he said ‘"Today, Baba is taking leave of the children’" not the normal ‘G"oodnight’". Dadiji accompanied Baba to his room. Baba gave Dadiji His hand and then left. Baba showed us practically how to go to the subtle region. Dadi was in Pune at that time. A phone call came through at 9.30pm from Shil Dadi of Bombay and Dadi went to get the night train to Abu, but it had already gone so Dadi travelled the following day, after class and yoga.
Baba practically showed us how to leave the body. For three years Baba made so much effort from the heart. When Dadi arrived in Madhuban there was deep silence everywhere and there was the question ‘what will happen’. Then BapDada came in Dadi Gulzar and told us ‘"The Father is present in the service of the children".’ There was then such a wonderful atmosphere. From Saturday 18th January before the cremation on Tuesday 21st January, Baba’s body remained in the History Hall and Baba’s didn’t change. Baba became avyakt and this was the method to help us attain that stage too.
Dadi had walked with Baba outside what is now the Tower of Peace, when the pillars for the training centre were being made, and Dadi had asked Baba what service could she do and Baba had said she would give training to the teachers. Baba said then Dadi did not need to travel… and look how Dadi has travelled since! This is the "bhavna" of doing what Baba says that works. We now have such pure feelings in Baba’s Rooms. These are not artificial feelings but real deep feelings.
Whatever Baba had done we also have to do. Even now Baba has given a blessing to stay in concentration and be faithful to One, then purity will develop within the personality. A waste thought can then not touch you. When Baba’s sees such ones He will give extra sakaash. Om Shanti.

Dadi Janki – 2.6.12 - Meeting the UK Family - GCH, London
Nothing new and something new
The confluence age is for staying happy and sharing happiness - that’s all. To be happy and stay happy what do we have to do? ‘Nothing new’ or something new? Whatever happens, nothing new. Yet we do something new. I mustn’t get stuck anywhere, while seeing things or be afraid or confused and get caught up in that way. I have to create something new. It’s human nature to like new things. The newness needed: is that in which there is completion. Nothing old should remain.
Baba has created this amazing game and made me an instrument to see everything – what fortune! In 1953 at the time of the beggary part just after we’d moved from Pakistan to Abu, we had nothing, We were living just seeing Baba. People were concerned about us and some BKs also had concerns but I would look at Baba and feel that my future was in God’s hands. I was an asthma patient and I thought: what service can I do? Someone who had been my godfather came to see me in Abu after 15 years and he was amazed: to see how I really did belong to God. If anyone sees you they should feel that way about you. Just as a lokik father carries a child on his shoulders, I have carried Baba on my shoulders and taken Him all around the world. Baba says: ‘See who My child is.’ And I say: ‘See how my Father is.’
You have forgotten the body and bodily relations but you are still holding on to your old sanskars. Please give them to me! I won’t take them to Madhuban; I will throw them in the river here. Some have attachment to the body; others do very good service and have no body consciousness but the old sanskars are still there and they don’t allow them to bring newness, to bring that state of completion. In the last season’s murlis Baba was emphasising: ‘Burn your old sanskars; through the fire of yoga the body and anything to do with body cannot remain.
Let us dance the dance of knowledge. Service is also a dance. There should be variety and newness in dancing too. So play! As the song goes: "Having made me belong to Him God has taught me how to smile. "So let’s smile. It’s not difficult: In the awareness of ‘’I, the soul, a being of peace, am powerful’ I naturally smile. It’s so important to understand that everything has benefit - not just to hear that but to really feel it and say it with realisation, not blind faith. The Father is benevolent and every scene of the drama is benevolent. I not only make Baba my Companion, I also see the drama as a detached observer. This is so beneficial.
Today is Saturday, so give a donation, then whatever you want to be free of will be removed. Why keep holding on to anything of body consciousness? If you keep it, you will use it. Don’t just say ‘Baba, Baba’ but keep "using" Baba; then He can use you. Baba sends me into the gathering to glorify His name and. to get His wrok done; He doesn’t really let me sleep. He is wonderful – doing everything and inspiring everything to be done. If He didn’t fill me with power, I wouldn’t be able to do His task - to help the children quickly become complete and perfect angels. In becoming deities, we will be numberwise. A "farishta "(angel) doesn’t have a "rishta" (relationship) with anyone. An angel is completely free; the hands are free and bestowing.
The time of ‘give and take’ is over – those accounts have finished. Baba has made us surrender our life; we just belong to Baba and Baba belongs to us. There’s surrender from the heart, the mind and the intellect. Some say ‘I am surrendered’ or ‘I want to surrender’. It’s not a matter of words, though; it has to be from within - it’s automatic, not planned. The mind says ‘Baba’. The body sits in front of Baba. Where would the wealth then go? Where would you keep it? We have to use everything has to be used in a worthwhile way – there are many examples of people who have done this and Baba takes service from the minds of such children. Service is actually nothing big. We don’t have anything of the outside world because we have everything. It says in the Gita and it is our experience: Children, this knowledge and yoga is giving you the revealed fruit. The fruit is revealed not just in golden age but now. You are here because of instant revealed fruit.
God pulls the soul and threads you in the rosary. As the song goes: "We are going to the supreme abode, as someone is pulling us with the thread of love." It’s a very subtle thread. The world is foreign, alien to us. How can we love something that doesn’t belong to us? Whatever comes, we give it in the yagya for service. I serve the yagya with my hands, my body, my mind and from the heart and I receive power from that. The power of yoga and faith in intellect give us so much strength and we are carefree. This is sovereignty – rule of the self. With faith in the intellect, we don’t have anything to worry about. Others will worry but we don’t. We know that whatever is destined to happen will be good.
Please don’t say ‘Dadi, Dadi’, say ‘Baba, Baba’. Show everyone what the Father is doing, so that all are seen wearing a crown of light. In the early days people would us as light. Give that experience of light and might and everything is right. As you walk along, be like this. If someone comes to your bedside, they should see white light.
Om Shanti
