Dear sisters and brothers of Baba's Centres around the world.

As predicted by the environmentalists, each year the temperatures have been rising, especially in Rajasthan. Over the last 10 days, we have been experiencing scorching heat in Abu and other places in Rajasthan, with temperatures going beyond 42 degrees Celsius in Shantivan (Abu Road), 48 degrees in Churu, 46+ degrees in Pali and other places. As we learn from the newspapers, a 'solar tsunami' is causing this upheaval.
The heat has transformed our water coolers in Shantivan to 'water heaters'! It has been a particularly trying situation for 5000 participants attending the Rajyoga Shivir from North India (Punjab, Haryana, UP and Nepal). We had to request Sukh Shanti Bhawan, Ahmedabad, family to urgently arrange for large-sized water coolers with chilling facility. They were very kind to organise for five to arrive in Shantivan within 24 hours, each of 1000 litres capacity, thereby earning blessings of thousands of sisters and brothers in Baba's own Shantivan.
Further we would like to inform you that a contract was signed today for the reconstruction of Baba's Big Kitchen, Shantivan. The plan is to have steel structures with ground, first and second floors. The ground floor will be utilised for cooking of rice, dal and vegetables. First floor will be Milk and Chappatis' Kitchens, and second floor will be for Stores.
A lot of innovation, additions and alterations are required and these need to be completed within the next 4 months. This is going to be a very challenging task but perhaps Baba wants us to prove that God, the all-powerful one, is with us and so everything will be made possible. Therefore, we have accepted the challenge. Please continue to send your good wishes this way...
While doing these little things, we look forward to receiving you in the near future. Shantivan is about to host a one-month Teacher's Training for 400 kumaris, while carrying on with Rajyoga Camps for guests. Gyan Sarovar is hosting a Dialogue-cum-Retreat for guests of the Cultural Wing. Pandav Bhawan will be hosting small bhattis for some groups in June.
